Peach & Blueberry Bliss      
 

Ingredients:

2 pounds peaches peeled, pitted and sliced
1 pint blueberries, washed
½ cup sugar
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 egg
5 tbsp butter, melted

Put the peaches in a well-oiled 2-quart casserole. Cover with the berries and sprinkle with a little of the sugar. Mix remaining sugar, flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon in a medium sized-bowl. Add the vanilla and the egg and mix until coarsely blended and the dry ingredients dampened. Sprinkle the sugar mixture over the fruit and drizzle with melted butter. Bake, uncovered, on the highest shelf in the oven for 15 minutes at 400F or until the topping is golden. Serve the casserole hot, warm, cool, cold, any way at all. Try it with ice cream or yogurt.
